Wilkin De La Rosa

Wilkin Anthony De La Rosa (born February 21, 1985, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Camden Riversharks of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
He bats and throws left handed, is 6 feet tall, and 170 pounds.
Baseball career
In 2008, De La Rosa played with the New York Yankees Class-A affiliate, the Charleston RiverDogs, with a 7-3 record, 2.63 ERA and 32 strikeouts. Following the season, he was added to the 40 man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft.
In 2010, he played for the Trenton Thunder, the Double-A affiliate of the Yankees.
On September 9, 2010, De La Rosa was designated for assignment by the Yankees to make room on the roster for Steve Garrison. De La Rosa cleared waivers and was outrighted to Trenton. He became a free agent after the season and signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. With the Dodgers, he pitched in 14 games for the AA Chattanooga Lookouts (1-2, 3.15 ERA, 1 start) and in 8 games for the AAA Albuquerque Isotopes (3-0, 2.25 ERA). He was released by the Dodgers organization on July 14, 2011. After his release, he signed with the Camden Riversharks.
