Alvis Ojeda

Alvis Enrique Ojeda (born September 23, 1983 in Maracaibo, Venezuela) is a right-handed pitcher in Minor League Baseball.

Ojeda was signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers as a non-drafted free agent on February 28, 2001. With the Santo Domingo Dodgers in the Dominican Summer League in 2002 he tied for the lead among all Dodger short-season minor leaguers in wins and strikeouts.

Played for the Gulf Coast Dodgers in 2003 and did not yied an earned run in his final 17 innings pitched, finishing with a 1.81 ERA in 21 games and 44.2 innings, mostly in relief. Threw 5 innings of no-hit relief in his final outing of the season.

In 2004 with the Columbus Catfish he posted a 7-1 mark as a reliever and 1-1 record as a starter. Played for the Vero Beach Dodgers in 2005, going 5-1, 3.36 ERA in 28 games (2 starts).

Spent 2006 and 2007 with the Jacksonville Suns. In 2008 he is with the Hanshin Tigers in Japanese baseball.
