Wil Cardon

Wilford R. "Wil" Cardon (born c. 1970) is an American businessman and political activist who unsuccessfully ran in the Republican primary for the U.S. Senate seat held by retiring Senator Jon Kyl of Arizona. Cardon also serves as President and CEO of The Cardon Group, which was founded by his grandfather, a position he has held since 2000.
Cardon, who announced his candidacy for U.S. Senate on August 5, 2011, lost to Congressman Jeff Flake in the Republican primary held on August 28, 2012.
Business career
In 2000, Cardon became the President and CEO of the real estate investment firm The Cardon Group, a group founded by his grandfather, Wilford Pratt Cardon. Cardon lost to Flake in the August 28, 2012 primary.
Personal life
Cardon and his wife, Nicole, have five children, and currently reside in Mesa, Arizona.
