Why you need an ISO Standard facility for Drive rebuilds

When deciding on how to proceed with a hard drive(s) rebuild and subsequent data recovery consider the following:

Many companies promoting data recovery are often web designers and individuals who do not actually have the facilities required.

Be sure the data recovery company you engage actually has a lab / cleanroom facility that has passed the ISO 5 STANDARD AS A MINIMUM.

Most data recovery companies will tell you they are class 100 certified .... so ask them for their certification.

Class 100 has been replaced with the newer ISO class system ISO 5 (CLASS 100), ISO 4 (CLASS 10) and the highest standard for hard drive rebuild ISO 3 (Class 1).

The ability to ensure the cleanest working environment will give the rebuild the maximum chance of success.

Many drives which have failed to be recovered after a rebuild in a class 100 environment have been recovered once de-contaminated and rebuilt in an ISO 3 clean room.
