When the Lions Leave Their Den is the upcoming second album by Israeli folk/progressive metal band Amaseffer, set for release in late 2010, or early 2011. On April 9, 2010, the band revealed the album's title as well as additional info. Mats Leven, who sang as a session vocalist on the band's first album will be providing vocals on this release as well, with Yotam Avni of Prey for Nothing writing all the lyrics. Between January-February 2010 the band recorded some of the vocals for the album as well as the orchestration, with the rest of the vocals recording taking place in May. Drums and choir will be recorded in June 2010 in Gal-Kol Studios in Israel, with guitars and bass being recorded right after at Amaseffer's studio in Jerusalem. Mixing and mastering will take place in Germany.
