Through the Flame of the Ages

Second Strike: Through the Flame of the Ages is the second full-length studio album by Israeli folk/black metal band Arafel.
The album was recorded in a studio in Russia, with vocals done by Russian symphonic black metal band Tvangeste's singer .
It is the band's only release with virtuoso guitarist Daniel Varfolomeyev, who later left to form Acropolis, and vocalist , as well he only recorded vocals due to former vocalist Candlelight's departure at the time. It is also the first appearance of violin as a prominent instrument in the band's music.
