The West Prescott Loop Freeway is a planned freeway near Prescott, Arizona, currently in design and study by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) to address expected long-term growth and development in the area. If constructed, the roadway would serve as a controlled-access expressway connecting State Route 89A (SR&nsp;89A) in Prescott with the planned alignment of future Interstate 11 (I-11). Route description The exact route of the freeway has yet to be determined, but the corridor is currently under study and planning by ADOT. Roughly the new freeway would follow SR 89 and head north before veering off along Iron Springs Road as it continues north. It is expect to continue north past Iron Springs Road and curve near Granite Mountain towards Pioneer Parkway and meet Pioneer Parkway at Williamson Valley Road. This would connect I-11 with Prescott, Prescott Valley, Williamson Valley and Chino Valley as well as SR 89A and SR 89.
