History
WebPreserver is a privately held company based in Vancouver, Canada. The first iteration of the product was released on April 8, 2015 by PageFreezer Software, Inc., a company founded in 2009 by Michael Riedijk.
WebPreserver Software Inc. then launched as a wholly-owned subsidiary of PageFreezer in June 2018 to support a rapidly maturing market.
The platform's popularity grew in the wake of when investigators began moving away from API-based evidence collection tools.
