Adivo Ltd, which was founded in 2002, is a company that provides authoring software for technical documentation. Originally an IT consulting business, the company began marketing TechWriter for Databases, its first product, in 2006. TechWriter is a documentation generator that produces technical documentation for Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases. In 2007, Adivo added TechWriter for XML Schemas to the TechWriter product suite. This documentation generator produces technical documentation for XML Schema Definitions (XSDs) and XML DTDs. At the end of 2007, Adivo released TechWriter for Web Services adding a documentation generator that produces technical documentation for WSDL-based web services. Adivo is a privately owned with all company operations, sales, marketing and development located in Ohio.
