We Rule the Night

'We Rule the Night' is the upcoming fourth studio album by Swedish metalcore band Sonic Syndicate. The album is scheduled to be released on May 28, 2010. It will also be the band's first full-length release to feature Nathan J. Biggs as a vocalist.
Writing and recording
Sonic Syndicate started working on the pre-production of the new album as of January and soon after announced that the producer for the album would be legendary US producer Toby Wright (Kiss, Korn, Motley Crue, Slayer, Stone Sour). The main recording of the album took place at Bohus Sound Studios in Kungälv, Sweden. The photoshoot for the album took place in Stockhold, Sweden on February 23. On the same day the band annonced that they were finished with the recording of the new album. . As of March 2010, Toby Wright has returned to USA to make the final mixing and mastering on the album at the Paramount Studios in North Hollywood, California. March 7 2010 the band annonced that the final mixing of the album is done.
Release and promotion
On March the 5th the artwork and title for the album was revealed. As well as that the limited edition of the album would come with and dvd and two bonus tracks. It's also been annonced in March that the dvd would feature fotage of the band in the studio, possibly a "making off"-video. The cover artwork for "We Rule the Night" was created by Gustavo Savez of Abstrata Art, the same artist who made the cover artwork for their 2009-single/EP Burn This City.
When Sonic Syndicate asked Gustavo to make the album artwork they commented: "We asked Gustavo to create a bright cover that was also very dark to fit with the title of our new album. After countless hours of frustration and adjustments, an e-mail arrived with what has now become the brightest yet darkest cover we could possibly hope for."
