St. Anger II

St. Anger II is a working title for an upcoming studio album by American thrash metal band Metallica. The album will be composed of reduxed material that was not used in St. Anger, hence it's name. Production With over 2 years spent in the making of St. Anger, much material was left over from the recording process. When asked in an interview, Hetfield gave this response; : "We don't know about that soundtrack thing just yet. But there are quite a few songs that didn't make it onto 'St. Anger'." According to Blabbermouth.net, the band may start thinking about recording their next album in the second half of 2011.
