Waterproof Sand

Waterproof Sand is sand that is waterproof. This type of sand has been used in magic shows. The waterproof sand is thought to have been invented by East Indian magicians. Some waterproof sand has been manufactured by toy companies and sold on the domestic market called Magic sand. Waterproof sand has been used for over 100 years and is mentioned in the Boy Mechanic book 2, published by Popular mechanics in 1915. This trick is performed by placing sand in a bowl of water. Stir the water then take out handfuls of sand perfectly dry to the astonishment of the audience. The waterproof sand is prepared before hand by heating fine sand and adding melted wax.
