Waltons Guitar Festival of Ireland

The Waltons Guitar Festival of Ireland is an annual event about guitar music in all its forms, with top artists from around the world as well as Irish performers. It is a comprehensive guitar summer course based in Dublin city centre, comprising of daily tuition, concerts/gigs, seminars, music cinema and exhibitions.
The festival is organised by volunteers and largely financially supported by Waltons World of Music and the Arts Council. Festival director is classical guitarist Alec O'Leary.
The Waltons Guitar Festival of Ireland is Europe's most prestigious guitar festival. It is now firmly established as a leading event in the Irish festival calendar and attracts thousands of visitors annually.
The Waltons Guitar Festival of Ireland shows international and Irish classical, jazz, bluegrass and flamenco acts, and uses performing venues such as the National Concert Hall, the National Gallery, Vicar St. The festival offers a programme of concerts, workshops, masterclasses, seminars, and outdoor entertainment.
