Wales Air Network (WAN) is a support group for air transport, aerospace and travel in Wales. Originally created as an online forum in June 2009, the organisation now provides Wales' only air/aero/travel news feed, takes part in consultative and non-executive roles for the country's airports, holds discussion events - usually in Cardiff and involving aviation decision-makers, and gathers research on Welsh aviation which is presented to the Welsh Assembly Government and other authorities. WAN's membership is drawn from industry professionals, frequent travellers, politicians, civil servants and enthusiasts. The support group can be found on its main (Ning) website, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. The Wales Air Network also provides a news service dedicated to Welsh aviation however also includes Passenger Advice, Airline News, Accidents & Incidents, Diverts and a whole lot more. |
