Vix and the Kix (sometimes spelled ViX n The Kix) is a musical project initiated in 2007 by Vickie Perks (aka Vix), former vocalist with all-girl band We've Got a Fuzzbox and We're Gonna Use It with whom she had four Top 40 UK singles and in 'Big Bang!' a Top 5 UK album in 1989 through Warner Bros. Records.
'Ruckus' online magazine (issue 11, October 2008) described Vix And The Kix' music as 'a retro lashing of slick Fifties glamour and flirty burlesque...alternates between fun, punk-inspired blasts of guitar-powered pop to lush, emotive ballads - influences taking in everything from No Doubt through Garbage to Roxy Music and The Pretenders.'
The free daily newspaper featured Vix And The Kix in its 'Metro Life' section on September 4 2008, and described the band's most attractive feature as a 'playful sense of humour; essential for anyone wanting to broach the world of pop. On the track 'If' there's also something of Sharleen Spiteri about Vix's lilting vocals.'

The debut album 'Moon On A Stick' was written and produced by Vix and Neil 'Thor' Darbyshire with co-writes by Jef 'Jazz Bwoy' Hornsby and is due for release in late 2008 or early 2009. Hanoi Rocks guitarist and former Electric Boys frontman Conny Bloom is credited as executive producer and has contributed guitar tracks for the album.
Vix And The Kix release their debut single 'Blah Blah Blah!' on November 5 2008 in the UK. This is accompanied by a promotional video shot in the summer of 2008. A dance remix of 'Blah Blah Blah!' with electro / house / rock collaboration Zoned Out has also been released as a promotional video credited to ViX vs Zoned Out.
Vix And The Kix will appear at the Dubai Desert Rhythm Festival in the United Arab Emirates on October 31 2008, supporting Paul Weller and The Wailers.
