Vinita Kumar, born 17 August 1986, in Kannur City of Kerala is a successful Entrepreneur and Actor. She later moved to Bangalore and has since lived there. Career She has acted in a short movie called "Project Indian Bride" by director Mujeer Pasha. which has been screened at various LGBT events, art and movie festivals, and Corporate Diversity events etc across the nation (India). The movie was also screened at various International movie festivals like Bangalore International Short Film Festival, The KASHISH Mumbai International Queer Film Festival, Bangalore International Film Festival etc. The movie received widespread attention and was mentioned by various notable persons and forums and media. Vinita is also a businesswoman and successfully does Web Design and Development Services, Web Hosting Services through her company Gopsco. LGBT Vinita is a transwoman, having transitioned from male to female surgically and is legally a woman/female. She is well known in the LGBT community and is often seen as an inspiration to those fellow LGBT members who may be considering transition, is still exploring their transgender side or who may just be looking for information on transgender life, hardships, policies, medical details etc. Vinita was invited to Corporate Diversity events as a Guest Speaker. Through the movie "Project Indian Bride". Vinita portrays many challenges and dreams of a transwoman in a heteronormative society.
