Victor Zammit

Victor James Zammit is an Australian writer and researcher into the paranormal. Formerly a lawyer, he is the author of A Lawyer Presents The Case For The Afterlife. His website claims to present an analysis of at least eleven different areas of proposed evidence for the afterlife, including mediumship, near-death experiences and reincarnation. It also contains a number of articles which purport to rebut arguments by certain skeptics against the existence of an afterlife.
Million dollar challenge
Victor Zammit organized sponsors to offer one million dollars to anyone who could rebut the existing empirical evidence for the afterlife. Conditions of the challenge were changed on 6 November 2006. Zammit's challenge states that the challenge will be adjudicated by a Committee which "shall comprise experienced adjudicators qualified empirically in litigation and empiricism and will be appointed jointly by the offeror and the applicant."
