The movement was founded on June 13, 1776, in Amsterdam (Holland) as the Order of Veroveraar, with an initial membership of seven, by Ronald S van der Veen (d. 1843), who had no known association with anything before this point, organized the first meeting. It was made up of many powerful strategic minds with the united goal to concur the world. The Veroveraar’s members took a vow of secrecy and pledged obedience to their superiors. Members were divided into three main classes, with the original seven at the top. Over time there numbers grew to an estimated maximum of around one thousand members at one time.
