Vasiliy Krivtsov

Vasiliy Krivtsov is a Russian Ukrainian American engineer, scientist, and educator. With dual doctorates in electrical and reliability engineering, he leads Reliability Analytics at the Ford Motor Company. He serves as an Adjunct Professor of Reliability Engineering at the University of Maryland. Krivtsov’s main contribution in electrical engineering is in the mathematical modeling of Gerkotrones, and in reliability — statistical estimation procedures of the Generalized Renewal Process, which enabled its widespread use in reliability engineering. On behalf of Ford, Vasiliy Krivtsov was a lead scientist in the Firestone Tire Investigation. In 2019, he represented Ford in the U.S. Congressional Briefing on Advancing Safety Technologies for Autonomous Vehicles. Krivtsov has authored numerous scholarly papers and inventions in the fields of electrical and reliability engineering.
Vasiliy Krivtsov is listed in IMDb as an episodic role actor. He is also known for his participation in an intellectual game show on Russian National TV called What? Where? When?.
