Varghese Mathai

Pastor Varghese Mathai is a Christian preacher, writer and social activist in India. Mathai is the national chairman of the Indian Christian Progressive Forum which acts for the rights of Christians in India. and is the general director of the Sunday School Association of the Indian Pentecostal Church of God. The Indian Pentecostal Church of God has more than 7000 Sunday school units and 1000 churches in Kerala. Mathai is also the council member and Presbyter of the Indian Pentecostal Church of God and presents a program named Prathyasha (Hope) on Power Vision television channel. Mathai was the Kerala state chairman of Uni-Y which is the university students wing of the Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA). |
