Richard Francis James Lee (born September 13, 1967) in Yakima, Washington, is a notable Spokane, Washington based minister and evangelist. Lee is also the grand-nephew of Academy Award winning cinematographer James Wong Howe. Lee earned his Bacheler of Arts from the University of Washington (Seattle, Washington) having majored in Comparative Religion (1990). He earned his Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law (Spokane, Washington)in 1997. That year, he matriculated at Fuller Theological Seminary (Pasadena, California) and finished the Master of Divinity degree in 2001. While in law school, Lee maintained a television program, "The Richard Lee Weekly Telecast," a televangelist program that was seen in Spokane, Washington. He was ordained a minister in the Pentecostal denomination, the Assemblies of God, and has also maintained the practice of law as an active member of the Washington State Bar Association.
