Joel Asarch

Joel K. Asarch was a Nassau County District Court Judge, beginning in January 2001. In 2007, he became a Justice of the Nassau County New York Supreme Court. He also served as an adjunct professor teaching New York Civil Procedure at Touro Law Center in Long Island. Asarch died on March 3, 2013.
Education
He earned his bachelor of Arts and Master Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law.
Authorship
He wrote a regular column on Civil Procedure for The Nassau Lawyer, and was a contributor to One on One, the publication of the New York State Bar Association General Practice Section.
Professorship
He served as an adjunct faculty professor at Touro Law School.
He was also a Professor at Nassau Community College in Garden City, NY.
