Ethnological missions in Mali and Niger as helper during the filming of the movie of Jean Rouch : « Dionysus Africain » 1982.

Lector in the Superor Faculty of Home Economics of Athens and as associate Professor of Sociology has the university of Crete in Rethytmon.

Collaborated with the Superior Technological institute
Superior of Athens during 6 years carrying out three
major research programs concerning Youth. (Sexuality,
Prevention of AIDS and Houliganism). The results of the these research were annonves in the International conresses of
Madrid (1990) and Bielefeld (1994).

Visiting and giving conferences in Finland, Russia, Hungary, Austria, Serbia, Bulgaria and Holland. To participate completely to the 17 conferences and international congresses having presented 36 original articles. In the domains of Sociology and Ethnology.

Member of the international association of Sociology since 1990 participating in the three International Congresses

Promoter of the two teams of presentation of the articles in the last Congresse of Monreal (1998).

Founding member of the Sociology Association European and involvement to the three conferences (1992, 1995, 1997). Also, founding member of the association
Sociological Greek also elected its secretary during 4 years. Member of a group of the experts of the Council of Europe for the renewal of the state-controlled politics at the Jeunese (1998).

Participant in a program of research of the 6 countries Europeans, finance by the Community European on the multicultural education (1998-2000).

Member of writing in three international newspapers : Sociological Analysis(USA), Newspaper of Social Sciences(India), Paideusis(Rumania)

Collaboration with colleagues Australians on two scientific projects carrying on Youth and the third Aged. Structural scientific interests on the sexual alienation of the young, on the anomie of the young

Research and teaching interests are in Youth Sexual Alienation, Youth Anomie, Education topics with an emphasis in the cultural parameters of Multicultural Education, Sociological Theory and Cultural Anthropology

1989-1992: Participation in two National Research Programs sponsored by the Technological Institute of Athens, related to the Sexuality of Adolescence and Social impacts of AIDS;

1992-1994: Senior Researcher in a Research Program sponsored by the Greek Ministry of Technology, related to Youth Subcultures and Hooliganism;

1991-1992: “Professional Orientation of Youth” in cooperation with students of Superior School of Home Economics and the Pedagogical Institute of Athens;

1994-1995: Inquiries in the secondary public schools of Athens about media influence and attitudes towards the meaning of Education and Alienation in Education and Family;

1996-1998 Recent activities carry on on-line education systems and virtual communities in a “learning society” via Internet. Creation of a relative discussion list.

1998-2000 Undertaking of a comparative research program sponsored by European Union on Multicultural Teacher Education. Participating countries: UK, Finland, Germany, France, Greece and Israel.
