Uwe Ungerer (born 26 December 1969 in Fürth) is a German composer and songwriter, who was a member of the famous Windsbach Boys Choir (German: Windsbacher Knabenchor) during his schooldays. Early life and career When he was eleven Uwe Ungerer was a member of the Windsbach Boys Choir. He was also a forming member of the quintet Fortissimo in early 1987s with which he had recorded several cd's while he was going to school. From 1992 to 1996 he studied at university of music in Würzburg. Since 1996, he has worked as a choirmaster, composer and instrumentalteacher. He was choir director in the Würzburg area and is choir leader assistant in the Amadeuschor. Uwe Ungerer had played a part in Dufay-Ensemble in Nürnberg. Regularly there are many performances of Uwe Ungerer's creations. Since 1999, he has been also the choirmaster of the Choir of Mainstockheim, with whom he made three successful musicals. A fourth musical is recently in production. In November 2009 there will be the premiere of the new musical of the choir. For three years, there has been a "Projektchor" in Mainstockheim that is directed by Uwe Ungerer. Since the formation of the choir it has made a big concert in the Catholic Church in Kitzingen. In 2009, there will be a new concert with new religious songs. A new cd called "The Rose" appeared in 2008 under the publisher Ars Produktion.
