Ghulam Mohammed Khan (1910 - 1974) was a Pakistani sarangi player. Early Life Khan was born in Hoshiarpur in 1910 family of sarangi and tabla players. Career Khan first learned sarangi from his father Bahadur Ali. After the death of his father he continued under his uncle Ghulam Hussain Khan and also under well known sarangi player Mamman Khan, uncle of Bundu Khan, and Raheem Bukhsh Shamapuri. He has accompanied great vocalists from Pakistan such as Nazakat Ali and Salamat Ali Khan and Amanat Ali and Fateh Ali Khan. Death Khan died in 1974 in Lahore at the age of 64. |
