Ultima Tower

The Ultima Tower is a 2 mile high supertall skyscraper visioned for the city of San Francisco. It is to be built to fit the population boom of San Francisco. The Ultima Tower can fit a million residents. It is to be 10,560 feet tall. The building will be shaped like a cone and will be able to fit parks and lakes. The building will be for residential, office, commercial, retail and entertainment. The problems of construction is that the soil is not strong enough to hold the building, The amount of energy to power the building, wind, earthquakes, and water. The building can use all these resources and can be made earthquake proof. The base can also use concrete so it can hold on the soil.

The building will also recycle goods. It will use things that are friendly with the environment. The base of the building would be hollow and it will be built on top of a lake. It would cost $150,000,000,000.00 1991 USD. The lakes would have sandy beaches, stone cliffs, water inlets, grass, trees and rocky islands. No automobiles would be let in. Only electric automobiles, hydrogen cars, and bicycles would be allowed. The interior of the building would only have pedestrian sidewalks and triple decked high speed elevators. The building would have no core. It would be hold on to by brackets. The building would also use powerful cables that can not be taken down by winds.
