Uchenna Charity Onwuamaegbu is a Nigerian STEAM educationist, the chairperson of the Anambra State Youth Advisory Board Committee, chief executive officer of EdufunTechnik and a recipient of the Global Gold Award Medal in the Technovation World Code and Pitch Challenge, for Girls in Silicon Valley, USA . She also received the Mandela Washington Fellow for outstanding young African leaders and have trained 5,650 girls in rural communities in eastern Nigeria on coding, robotics, science, technology, Engineering and Mathematics, STEM, Education.
She obtained a bachelor's degree in Psychology, from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria. She has been involved in ensuring that mentally challenged young girls in her community get the needed education and acquire skills that would help them bring change in their society. She served as a social worker where she made available access to education for young mentally challenged girl. Through her organization she has organized annual competitions that has enabled students in the rural communities build a community -based solution Mobile Application and application of Artificial intelligence and her partnership with Google she has been able to teach students, teachers and parents digital skills and online safety education.
