U P Joseph

U P Joseph is a prominent politician from central Kerala, who is now nominated as the Left Democratic Front candidate for the Indian general election, 2009 from the Chalakkudy constituency.
UP Joseph started his political career through the students wing Students' Federation of India (SFI) of the Communist Party of India (Marxist)(CPM) and had served as the president and secretary of SFI, Kerala state unit. Currently, he is a member of the Thrissur district secretariat of CPM, and is also the manager of Thrissur edition of Deshabhimani, the organ of the Kerala State Committee of the .
