Tytus Bergstrom

Tytus Ethan Bergstrom, is an American film director, screenwriter, producer, visual effects artist, actor and Latin ballroom dancer. He is the creator/director of Reality TV Movie, a parody film of reality TV shows and the fanatic media craze of the 21st century. He is a Latin ballroom dancer, best known for winning the United States Dance Championship in the Amateur Latin category in 1992 & Open Amateur Latin category in 1993. He also won the United States Dance Championship (as the professional in the Latin Pro-Am Division) with MayLing Hutchins in 2003.
Early life
Bergstrom was born in Greenbrae, California. He is the only child of Nancy Elizabeth Wallin and Roy Arthur Bergstrom. He grew up in San Rafael, California, where he started dancing at his mom’s dance studio from the age of 16 onwards.
Dancing career
At the age of 18, Bergstrom left for London to pursue his competitive dance career. He has won numerous dance championships throughout his career. In particular, after winning the United States Dance Championship in 1992 and 1993, he was selected to represent the United States in the World Dance Championship. As a dance coach, Tytus has trained many top couples and teams including Salsamania Dance Company, USA (2011 & 2013 Champions of World Salsa Championships) and John Narvaez & Andrew Cervantes quarter finalist - 2014).
Film
From a young age, Bergstrom had always had a fascination for films. His biggest inspiration is Star Wars, which he watched unteenth times in the theater when he was a child. He would also make movies with his childhood buddy. After he retired from competitive dancing, Bergstrom rekindled his desire to be a filmmaker. His influences for his first feature film, Reality TV Movie, stemmed from his years of experience teaching amateur and professional dancers and watching the first season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars. With his fashion and tailoring background, Bergstrom designed and created most of the dance costumes in the film. He also single-handedly created all the graphics and CGI in Reality TV Movie.
