<big>Taylor Chapman</big> (born April 10, 1987, Ann Arbor, MI, USA), known as "TBaby", is a British-American amateur surfer known for her competitive history. Chapman has been crowned one of eight La Jolla Amateur Surf Competition champions a record of 8 times, including 5 consecutive titles from 2000-2005. She is the second youngest (at age 15) and the oldest (at age 23) to win the titles. Upon winning her 5th title in 2005, Chapman passed Hawaiian-American surfer Clayton 'Bogey' Allen to become the most successful amateur surfer of Southern California. In 2007 she also became the all-time leader in career event wins by winning the Red Bull Amateur event in Pacific Beach, California. On July 30, 2010, Chapman won her ninth La Jolla Amateur Surf Competiton title by defeating local surfer Gabe Molante in the 3rd round. Since 2005, Chapman has been sponsored primarily by mid-Michigan agents James Barker of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Patrick Lindstrom of South Haven, Michigan.
