Danica Marrs is the current Vancouver Island Princess, and has held her title for 3 years. Aside from being Miss Vancouver Island, she has accomplished many things at a very young age. She was the first girl in all of British Columbia to win the national junior synchronized swimming competition, that was held in Waterloo, Ontario. Her fame over recent years has expanded vastly, and now she is viewed as a celebrity all over the province. She has been offered to make many appearances on national television, including an add for Colgate. She has traveled all over the world in recent years, especially to countries in need of aid, trying to "maintain world peace, and make the world a better place."
