Tyson Paul () also known as Paul, is a member of the Music Composers’ Association of India. He is an emerging singer and music composer in Bollywood, since 2008. At a very young age, he moved to Mumbai from Delhi, in order to pursue his dreams in music direction and playback singing. In 2011, has directed the maestros, Javed Ali, Roop Kumar Rathod, Vinod Rathod, Mahalaxmi Iyer and Sadhna Sargam besides having sung in the album Tu Charwaha. With a mesmerising voice and heart warming compositions, Tyson is being increasingly recognised by his music followers online and offline as a need of the Indian Film industry. Early life and background Paul, born on 21 March 1990, in New Delhi, is the youngest of the three children of his parents. Initially, Tyson was hugely inclined towards cricket and wanted to play for the country. Sachin Tendulkar was a major influence on him, and his idol in cricket. Tyson was more drawn to arts and sports than academics, which he eventually abandoned to pursue his dream of becoming a music composer and singer in Bollywood. This shift in interest from sports to Music came about when he entered the teen age. The influences were none other than from his family itself. Tyson has inherited music as a legacy from his father and uncle who were renowned in the field of live orchestra in late 70s till 90s. The family environment at home was that of music. Tyson’s father Robinson Paul is a member of Film Writers’ Association of India and lyrics writer. When initiated into music, Late. Shri Mohd. Rafi was his inspiration. At 15 and later, he received several awards and recognition in state level music championships, one being from Bollywood actress, Smt. Sushma Seth. Career From the age of 14, Tyson had started performing publicly in musical events and nights with some seasoned organisers in the country. Music had already been the first serious affair of his life by now. The journey of bagging recognition continued for Tyson until in 2007, he moved to Mumbai, Maharashtra. Since then, he is settled in Mumbai and composing music. Creating contemporary music, containing peppy numbers as well as Sufi music is Tyson's genre. While recomposing of his father’s work, he also is engaged in writing songs. While Tyson is currently focusing on music in order to contribute to the existing wealth of great music by the Film industry, he is open to the prospects of acting, sometime in future. He is also, at heart, speculates acting in South Indian cinema, if opportunity follows, some time in future. Work In Mumbai, Tyson sharpened his knowledge of music under the guidance of legendary musicians, Shri. Pyarelal and Shri Ravindra Jain. Currently, he is composing music for upcoming movie projects. In 2011, Tyson has directed the maestros, Jawed Ali, Roop Kumar Rathod, Vinod Rathod, Mahalaxmi Iyer and Sadhna Sargam, besides having sung in the album Tu Charwah. While now Tyson is composing songs for upcoming movies, he is engaged in live music shows. On 20 June 2015, a concert was organised in Dilli Haat, Janakpuri, New Delhi, where Tyson Paul was seen rocking the audiences, compelling them to dance to the unbeatable live performance.
