K. V. Gautam

K. V. Gautam () (born December 15, 1979) is an Indian cartoonist based in New Delhi.
Career
K. V. Gautam started his career as a editorial cartoonist working for national newspapers like Hindustan Times and Dainik Jagran. He drew caricatures for the book Atal Bihari Vajpayee: Poet and Ex Prime Minister and Entrepreneur of the New Millenium: N.R. Narayana Murthy. He is currently working as a freelance cartoonist.
Gautam has conducted cartoon workshops at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Anna University and VIT University.
K. V. Gautam was offered role of a celebrity participant in the TV reality show Bigg Boss 10. He rejected the offer as he felt the show did not suit his image or temperament.
Documentary film
K. V. Gautam was subject of a documentary film titled Comic Fingers. The film is about the issues and threats faced by cartoonists in India.

K. V. Gautam has written novel Love in Crazy Times and motivational book Impossible is Fun.

Motivational talks
K. V. Gautam was invited to deliver a TEDx talk at Jaypee University of Information Technology in August 2014. He has also delivered motivational speeches at Education Times fair, University of Delhi and Lingaya’s University.
