Tsamara Amany Alatas (born in Jakarta on June 24, 1996) is a politician from the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI). She serves as the executive board chairperson of the PSI. In November 2020, she comment that Rizieq Shihab should be embarrassed for holding a crowded event in Petamburan, Jakarta that will likely become a new COVID19 cluster, and directed criticism at the governor Anies Baswedan for the lack of dedication to contact tracing. Life & Education Tsamara is the son of mining entrepreneur Muhammad Abdurachman Alatas. In 2019, she married author and historian Ismail Fajrie Alatas. Tsamara studied Communication Science at Paramadina University. Despite being active in politics, she graduated within 3.5 year. In September 2018, she spoke about her experience about becoming a young politician in Indonesia at TEDxYouth, and how her opportunity to intern at DKI Jakarta City Hall under the Jakarta’s former governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, paved her way into politics.
