Professor Trilok Kumar Jain, born 14 April 1968, is a writer and professor in management and social entrepreneurship in Western and Central Rajasthan in India. He did B.Com. from University of Rajasthan Jaipur in 1986, MBA from Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University Ajmer in 1989 and Ph.D. from Bhavnagar UniversityBhavnagar in 1999. Professor Trilok Kumar Jain is currently dean of International School of Business Management, Gyanvihar UniversityJaipur. He has earlier worked as Principal of Sri Jain P G College Bikaner, as principal of Seth Gyaniram Bansidhar Podar College, Nawalgarh, and as Director of A.V. Jain Girls College Sriganganagar (Rajasthan). He has contributed substantially to social entrepreneurship and social development in Western and Central Rajasthan state in India by writing articles in both Hindi and English language and by supporting social entrepreneurs of this region. In his article, he asserts that relative economics is the solution for sustainable development. He is writer in the I U E magazine started by Sujit Lalwani. He is also a member of the board of management of Ajit Foundation for Social Development started by Prof.Vijay Shankar Vyas. He did his Ph.D. in social entrepreneurship from Bhavnagar University. He did his FDP in management from IIM Ahmedabad. He worked as academic associate in IIM Ahmedabad in 1994. He also worked as Faculty Member in the Department of Business Management in Bhavnagar University and started the Shantilal Shah Department of Business Management. He also worked as Financial Analyst with Bank of Rajasthan from 1995 to 1996. He served as member of Board of Studies in Maharaja Ganga Singh University in its earlier years. He guided many research projects of Doctoral Research Scholars of management subject under Maharaja Ganga Singh University bikaner. Research Professor Trilok Kumar Jain has guided following doctoral research under Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner in Western Rajasthan in India Mr. Bhagwati Swaroop Rattan carried out a study titled "Marketing Problems of Small Scale Industries in North-Western India - A Descriptive Study", submitted it on 07-10-06 and was awarded Ph.D. on 31.07.07. Preeti Chugh prepared a report on "A Study of Industrial relation Climate and its impact on Super thermal power station,Suratgarh (Raj.)" on 17-08-06 and was awarded Ph.D. on 24.08.07.Pankaj Jain presented a report on "Personal and social issues in the adoption of new media products." on 15-04-08 and was awarded Ph.D. on 10.11.08. Shipra Bhardwaj presented a report on "The relationship between emotional intelligence and career achievement in doctors of Bikaner and Jaipur" on 10-07-09 and was awarded Ph.D. on 27.10.09. Aditya Sharma prepared a report on "A study on investment pattern of FDI'S in developing countries with special reference to India" on 14-05-09 and was awarded Ph.D on 26.11.09. Ms. Ruhi Babbar prepared research report on "Process of human resource development in banking sector -A case study of Bank of Baroda' on 25-03-08 and was awarded Ph.D. on 14.01.10. Ms. Dipti Sharma prepared a report on "A study of strategic human resources management in IT industry in India" on 09-12-09 and was awarded Ph.D. on 15.04.10. Mr. Vijay Sharma prepared a report on "A study on effectiveness of FMCG promotional mix with special reference to rural Rajasthan" on 21-06-10 and was awarded Ph.D. on 04-06-11. Ms. Alka Swami prepared report on "Agricultural risk management in Bikaner district of Rajasthan" on 29-04-10 and was awarded Ph. D. on 03-11-11. Mr. Kaushik Mukherjee prepared a report on "Study of organizational culture and organizational management system of Central Cattle Breeding Farm (CCBF), Suratgarh, Rajasthan" on 08-03-11 and was awarded Ph.D. on 03-11-11. He was the Organising Chairman of C3W from September 2012 to October 2013 and organised many events including Convention on Climate Change and Water Crisis. . Along with Prof. P.Mohana Rao, he edited a book on New Age Corporate Strategies. He prepared grounded model of social entrepreneurship along with Prof. Bhawe and Prof. Gupta. Along with Prof. Nachiket Bhave of North Carolina State University and Prof. Vishal Gupta of University of Nebraska at Omaha, he presented the model of Grounded Theory on Social Entrepreneurship in Babson College. Along with Dr. Anita Sharma of Institute of Agro Business Management of Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University Bikaner, he has prepared and tested service quality model. He started Afterschool Centre for Social Entrepreneurship under Afterschool Career Guidance Trust in Bikaner. Model of social entrepreneurship Professor Trilok Kumar Jain used participant observation method in his research and prepared a model of social entrepreneurship. He has identified five strong characteristics of social entrepreneurs : 1. Trust 2. Talks / Writings to inflence the general public 3. Ability to generate resources 4. Empowerment to employees/ workers 5. Teamwork. He has identified that the culture of social enterprises consists of some distinct variables including : 1. Transparency, 2. Trust, 3. Supremacy of Mission and treating it as sacred cause 4. Team work 5. Empowerment 6. Participative decision making7. Positive approach 8. No wastage of resources. He identified that the growth of social enterprises is through different stages. He has identified following stages in the growth of social enterprises : 1. Problem identification 2. Beginning by one of a few persons 3. First group of Volunteers / Co-workers join 4. Identification of innovative solutions for beneficiaries 5. Modification in initial solution 6. Lack of initial support and Popularisation of first success 7. Development of organisational culture 8. Approaching the funding agencies and supporters 9. Writing / Talk to general public to influence masses 10. Knowledge sharing through seminars, conferences 11. Professionalisation of the organisation 12. Innovative sources of funding and corpus funds for stability 13. Research based pioneering solutions 14. Developing a model organisation and helping other organisation and starting HRD activities. Recently Sesomu College, SriDungargarh organised National Seminar on "Igniting Young Mind for an Emerging India" and Prof. Jain was a member of the advisory board. . Manda Institute of Technology Bikaner organised National Conference on Energy, Environment and Engineering on 26 and 27 April 2014. Professor Trilok Kumar Jain was a member of the Technical Advisory Board of the Conference. He has also served as the member of the editorial review panel of International Journal of New Practices in Management and Engineering, Gyan Vihar International Journal of Economics and Management, Bikaner Journal of Management, and a few other journals. Professor Trilok Kumar Jain has written book titled 'Human Resource Management' with Dr. Preeti Chugh (ISBN 978-81-920276-1-6). He has written a book titled 'Marketing Management' with Dr. Preeti Chugh and Prof. Vaishali Chhabra (ISBM 978-81-924617-5-5). He is member of international advisory group of International Journal of Latest Technology in Engineering, Management and Applied Sciences. He is the Editor in Chief of International Journal of Economics and Management, published by Suresh Gyanvihar University, Jaipur. With Professor P.Mohana Rao, he has edited books titled 'Strategic Financial Management', 'Corporate Strategies', 'Strategic Management' 'Management of Banks and Financial Institutions'. All these books were published by Deep and Deep Publications Delhi. In his articles on Sustainable Development, he has been highlighting the need of Relative Economics as the most appropriate economic model. He has written many case studies on Indian organisations and institutions. Personal life Trilok Kumar Jain is native of Bikaner. He is son of Shri Brij Ratan Parakh and Smt. Ichraj Devi(daughter of Shri Bhairundan Nahata). He is nephew of renowned Jain Scholar 'Sahitya Vachaspati' Shri Bhanwar Lal Nahata and social entrepreneur Shri Harakh Chand Nahata.He is married to Mrs. Kalpana Jain. He has a daughter and her name is Nirupa Jain.
