Tribeco

Tribeco is a neighborhood in Fort Worth, Texas. It stands for "Triangle Below Copley", and is bounded on the north by Copley Avenue, on the Southeast by Philip Street, and on the Southwest by Kremer Street.
As a playful riff on the famous Tribeca Film Festival in New York, Tribeco hosts an annual bubble-blowing competition that it calls the "Tribeco Film Festival". The contest, first held in 1981, was won for the first three years by its creator, Grace Moonbeam. Since then, only controversial Bulgarian bubblist Gregori Burstakov has won more than once (1992 and 2011).
Tribeco is regarded as an extremely liberal enclave, its denizens voting for Democrats in every presidential election since 1968, except for 2004, when they narrowly favored Socialist Party candidate Ken Dryden.
Tribeco's residents, known as "The Tribe", include:
Nathan Hale (painter)
Judy Plimpton (scultor)
Jamal Mashburn (basketball player)
Kevin Davis (basketball player)
Bret Easton Ellis (writer)
Big Sepdog (rapper and philosopher)
Grace Moonbeam (bubble enthusiast)
