Treet.Tv

(founded March 2007) is a media company that produces TV shows filmed in virtual worlds, notably Second Life. It has produced a wide range of shows (not all currently in production) including Tonight Live! with Paisley Beebe, Giant Snail Racing, The First Question (produced in association with Pookymedia), Designing Worlds (produced in association with Prim Perfect Publications) and Happy Hunting!.
Designing Worlds
Designing worlds is a video recording from within Second life which is presented by Saffia Widdershins and Elrik Merlin, They host their news show in different regions of the Second life world, gathering interviews from creators, designers and wardens of different places of interest within Second life.
Designing worlds previously Meta Makeover, is a show that looks at the design of worlds and the people who make them. The show which is regularly posted on their website, gives fresh interviews from different sources in each take. The group have now branched out to magazine which looks at the most stunning buildings and designs within the virtual world.
The programme consists of mainly interviews on the creations people have made, generally within Second life, this is conducted by what could be considered the news anchor Saffia Widdershins, Elrik Merlin also plays a large part in the interviews conducting them generally from the centre of the action, whereby Saffia will generally speak to the designers from a position in the creation where we can appreciate the setting we are in. Treet.tv is viewed by a large number of views and has its own page on a popular social network, where it posts new episodes and have discussions on new upcoming events.
