The THINKfuture Radio Show

The THINKfuture Radio Show is a variety podcast launched on 16 March, 2005 which discusses current events, politics, ethics, morality, working life, entertainment (movies, video games) and many other topics. The THINKfuture Radio Show is a part of the PodShow Network. The founder and host of the show is Chris Kalaboukis, who refers to himself by the moniker "Chris Future."

This adult themed show (the explicit content is limited to profanity) is produced most weekdays and features the host, Chris Future usually hosting the show from his car - most episodes are pure monologue, approximately 20-30 minutes long, however Future has sometimes featured Podsafe Music from the Podsafe Music Network, usually on anniversary shows. On rare occasions, he has interviewed - an interview with an Iranian immigrant was one of his highest rated shows, as was a reading of a post by Michael Yon, the acclaimed war blogger. Future also has a personal connection to the 9/11 attacks, having lost family in the attacks on the World Trade Center, and has also made the outrageous claim that Hillary Clinton will win the 2008 election - back on July 12, 2005.

The opening and closing theme of the show is from Jason_Yudoff, from a song called All Day.

*Two Sides Same Coin - in the political segment, Future examines how neither of the two major parties are any different from the other. Future's ideology has been described as "libertarian light", while he is a libertarian, he differs from that platform in his position on immigration.
*Hell Is Other People - examples of the not so intelligent actions of people around him
*Auto Vent - as Future records most episodes from his car, which he calls his "personal mobile studio", these segments feature driving faux pas - usually by other drivers he sees on his route
*Time Out For Fun - entertainment segment, which features mostly movie and video game reviews
*America, America - as a legal immigrant to the United States from Canada, Future provides an outsiders insight into the workings of his adopted country
*Peoples Republic Of... - examples of our eroding freedoms

While the number of segments vary, the range of topics covered on the show has been extremely varied. On his show, Future has tackled genetic engineering, the meaning of humanity, how expanding internet connectivity to all people in the world will abolish war, drug use, abortion, terrorism, immigration, technology, politics and current events.

The Host

Chris Future is the nom de plume of Chris Kalaboukis. This resident of Los Gatos, California, host and produces the THINKfuture Radio Show. Mr. Kalaboukis also has personal blog and a tech blog , discussing current and future trends in technology. Mr. Kalaboukis currently works at Yahoo! in the capacity of new product and service creation.
