TradeMark Express is a trademark research and application service. In addition to providing comprehensive research on names, logos and slogans, TradeMark Express provides articles about the trademark process in its entirety.
History
TradeMark Express was founded in 1992 in Los Altos, CA by the current president, Chris DeMassa. The company now also has locations in Arcata CA and Washington DC. The current general manager is Shannon Moore, who is also the author of the company blog and newsletter.
Affiliations
TradeMark Express is partnered with Miramark and NAME-IT, which offers creative name development services.
The company also offers an affiliate program through ShareASale[], the Chicago based affiliate marketing network.
TradeMark Express also offers bartering as one method of payment, whether it be through the Bellevue WA based ITEX or through International Monetary Systems, IMS.

In July 2005, Chris DeMassa was interviewed by Chris Penttila for Entrepreneur.com[] on the subject of bartering.
In January 2007, Shannon Moore was interviewed by Isabel M. Isidro, the managing editor of PowerHomeBiz.com, an online publisher on the subject of Yahoo Answers[].
In March 2008, TradeMark Express conducted research about the presidential candidate's trademarks and discovered that John McCain held two trademarks while Barack Obama owns one, specifically for the O logo. The article also discussed several failed attempts at others looking to capitalize on the names of the presidential candidates.
