Joseph Mackin

Joseph Lawrence Mackin (born on July 29, 1966 in Trenton, New Jersey) is an American writer, editor, and entrepreneur, and the founding publisher of 2paragraphs.com. He has written for the New York Journal of Books and is a member of the Authors Guild.
Biography
Mackin received his BA in English from Franklin & Marshall College and his MA in English from New York University. He was the original Internet Editor of The Paris Review under the direction of George Plimpton, and later the digital director of corporate communications for the global advertising firm Ogilvy & Mather, a WPP company, where he worked with clients like American Express and IBM. Before co-founding 2paragraphs, Mackin built the Internet-based national medical referral service, PerfectYourself.com, which he sold to Renaissance Media/Red Spot Interactive in 2007. Mackin contributes book reviews and occasional essays for the New York Journal of Books.
