Matthew Turvey (born 26 February 1979 in Birmingham, England) is an English sports journalist currently working as a football correspondent for the Express & Star, a regional paper based in Wolverhampton, England. Turvey mainly focusses on Aston Villa Football Club, a football team that currently plays in the English Premier League. His column in the Express & Star is currently published weekly. Turvey also operates as co-editor of the Aston Villa section of UK association football website Vital Football. He also operates as editor of Aston Villa internet site Aston Villa Life. Turvey is also a writer for Yardbarker, a subsidiary of Fox Sports. He has also written for for UK association football website Football365 in the past. Turvey works alongside the Santa Barbara Institute of Consciousness Studies away from his work in the sports field. |
