Tour de Rotary

The Tour de Rotary is an annual fundraiser bicycle rally held in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, organised by the Rotary Club of Madras Midtown. The first edition of the cycle rally was held on 15 February 2015 for raising funds to the "Keep India Polio Free" Campaign.
This year's edition, the fund raiser is for the Rotary Cause Cancer Care and is kept close to the World Cancer Day of 4th Feb.
This cycle rally is conducted to promote bicyclng, which is a healthy, greener and faster personal city transportation. Objective is to make Chennai - The Cycling Capital of India.
Logo
The present Tour de Rotary's logo has designs inspired from the Napier Bridge, built over the Coovum River connecting Fort St. George with the Marina beach.
The original logo picked up ideas from the Rotary International.
Route
The cycling route starts from the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, on the Old Mahabalipuram Road ( OMR ), the IT Highway of Chennai, Confluence Banquet Resort near to Mahabalipuram and back, covering about a 100 kms.
