Morse sakshama

Morse is an online puzzle based competition organized by the students of Engineering College Bikaner. It is launched around one month prior to the annual technical festival of the college called Sakshama. The competition runs for a month or so, beginning from September. The persons - in usual cases not more than 2 in number - handling morse are known as Morse Admins. The Morse story The competition was introduced for the first time in Sakshama 2009. The name Morse was given by Paras Kuhad and is based on a popular coding scheme Morse Code. The first season for morse began with an idea discussion by two of the students of Engineering College Bikaner Paras Kuhad and Manu Dixit , the initial thoughts were to make an online event based on a story which includes challenges for its users and the users would solve problems based on the backdrop of a story. The first story included Launchpad McQuack as the lead and the story was inspired by Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the property of Launchpad to crash anything. There were 16 levels of problems and a total of 256 users across India and abroad played it.The second edition of Morse starts on 9th September at 00:00 hrs. code Morse is based on a popular Content Management System named Drupal. And Morse supports the FOSS philosophy.
