Touch Radio, also referred to as TRL or simply ToucH, is an independent Internet radio service, broadcasting globally, from Southern Africa.
It features, skilled youthful DJ's, commonly aged below 20, playing International hits; of House and Urban music, as heard all over Southern Africa, and Europe.
Originally the main aim was to create a station, that can fuse instant messaging with Internet Radio; thus, implements, the ToucH RadiO Silver Screen, which enables listeners to interact, while streaming the service. This procedure, works during off-line and on-line timeslots, which gives visitors the freedom, to chat, without any kind of encryption. The Sliver Screen and Live Streamer are both hosted from the Official ToucH RadiO streaming page, better known as TRL, or Livewire.
Overview
Presented as the future of Internet Radio, Touch Radio blends live House mixes, and popular sounds, worldwide, with the benefit of live interactive services, by which listeners have the opportunity of communicating, with the DJ him/herself and with each other.
Originally, the idea came from, a South African Television Show, called Touch TV, howsoever, due to the constant deletion of unwanted messages, the neglected DJ's of Radio Shawty, formed the Internet Radio Service, which now gathers mostly International listeners, and is famously known, for its range of House Music.

Ownership
ToucH RadiO, is owned by its Co-Founder and Chief Executive, DJ Ndwaz10. Alongside, DJ Statistic, who is the Manager of the station, and Co-Founder, DJ Real U, which is the Station Technican, and Technical Producer.
Progress
Progression, in the Station, tends to incline, at a average rate.
After, negotiations, of founding the station, workloads of technical production, has been produced monthly, as the station, is strictly regulated on a Non-Profit bases, and sticks to a personal low-income budget.
It's interactive services can be used 24/7, even if the radio service is off-line.
With youthful and entertaining DJ's, aged below the age of 20, all Touch Radio Jocks, are officially trained DJ's, and have preformed at many venues, such as promotional venues, parties, as well as house bashes.
Production
The honourable sound of DJ Ndwaz10, pioneers Touch Radio, with an Upbeat of the latest House Music, with all its favourite songs, as liked and dedicated by it's fans. Along with DJ Statistic, the station director, the Touch Radio Management Board, therefore permits random broadcast, from its DJ's, at an available timeslot. Establishment
Touch Radio, was established by the rivalled board, of DJ's at Radio Shawty, which had been Neglected, and Isolated from doing there jobs, or having access to any of the stations promotions, services, or discussions.
As founded alongside, DJ Real U, Touch Radio, was assigned to DJ Ndwaz10, the previous existing main DJ, of Radio Shawty, who was the first board member, and a leader in the act of pioneering the station to its fullest potential.

The CEO, of Touch Radio, and pioneer of the station, it's main DJ, as well as the executive producer, DJ Ndwaz10, is an experience and qualified Radio Jock, and has inherited the title of Disc Jock, by the progression of live broadcasting.
DJ Statistic
DJ Statistic, is Touch Radio's assigned, Station Director, representing Touch Radio, as a spokesperson and; continually managing it, by analysing its productivity, and maintaining the station internal discussions.
By promoting it, helping, and enabling that all promotional activities are successful, and contributes to the sociality.
DJ Statistic, is also an Radio Jock, howsoever, with his seldom radio appearances, his is officially a Disc Jock, by means of venued DJ'ing.
DJ Real U (Prince Uriël)
The Co- Founder, of Touch Radio, and Technical Manager or Station Technician, DJ Real U, is an official member of Touch Radio. Being the only DJ, signed with a long-distance agreement, DJ Real U, is an external Touch Radio member. He commonly appears on Touch Radio, and has inherited the title of Disc Jock, by means of self-composed songs and remixes.
DJ Real U, is the Technical Producer, Server Technician & Technical Manager, and plays a major role, in maintaining the stations, external production, services, hosts, and configuration.
RJ Ryan
RJ Ryan, is the current CEO of Radio Shawty.
Providing Hip-Hop sounds and other urban content to ToucH RadiO, RJ Ryan, features on weekly broadcast.

TRL (ToucH RadiO Live), Broadcast over an Shoutcast Server, at the regulated bit rate of below 64 kbs. Originally, the preferred bitrate is 48 kbs, as prescribed by its Technical Manager, howsoever, some Touch Radio Broadcast are broadcasted at 40 kbs, due to the intense quality of played songs.
The foundation of Touch Radio, is built up, of a various DJ's, by which Touch Radio broadcast can be initialised anywhere in the world, with a working Internet connection, and Virtual DJ.
With its private Shoutcast Server, and its various virtual broadcast destinations, which include, the original Touch Radio streaming page, and the U.N.T Media Toolbar Streaming, Touch Radio is a multi-efficient radio service, broadcasting globally via the Internet.
ToucH RadiO tends, to broadcast, original mixtures, and safe-responsible audio content. This is operated on an English only basis, as the station is Internationally supported. History

The station started, with a formation of previous Internet Radio DJ's, previously broadcasting over Radio Shawty and Project Freecast. Due to corrupt management at Radio Shawty, by which its founder, DJ Real U, had transferred ownership of the service, to Khalil Maduna & Ryan Issacs (Current Owners), the broadcasting board of Radio Shawty, had been neglected since December 2009. As a result of this, the Radio Shawty service, then lead into a continuous 2 month downtime, by which the main DJ, DJ Ndwaz10, was isolated from weekly broadcasting.
Ndwaz10, then informed, DJ Real U, about the crisis at Radio Shawty, in which Maduna & Issac's, pleaded innocent to allegation's of corrupt management.
Ndwaz10, then agreed to an offer made by Real U, to create a new radio service, proceeding Radio Shawty, originally the service was stated to by named Houseroots, but due to Vuzu's Touch TV, the inspirational recreating of Touch TV, into Radio, was considered as "a leap into the future".

Touch Radio, offers a free-to-access, streaming page.
There streaming page, operates, with an Window's Media Player - Active X control. Although, many, browsers, do not trust, Active X controls, the Touch Radio streaming server, is a harmless, connection process, that uses the Windows Media Player, and buffers the audio transferred thought its server.

Interactive Services
The Touch Radio, interactive service, also known as the ToucH RadiO Sliver Screen; Touch Box; or Chatter box is an in-line website tool, found on the Official Touch Radio Streaming Page. It offers listeners, the opportunity of chatting and communicating, with other listeners, as well as the DJ or Presenter involved or a Text Jock, as appointed by Touch Radio.
The Interactive Service, caters to all its visitors, on a 24 hour, 7 days a week basis. This means, that the Interactive Service, is still available for chatting purposes, even when the radio station broadcasts is currently off-line.
The Touch Radio Interactive Service, has been created for a limited amount of Instant Messages, howsoever, should traffic improve on the service, it's IM service, will be multiplied and all users of the services, will have the ability to chat on either one of the Interactive Service Rooms or Divisions.
Portable Streaming

Although, several attempts have been tried to configure this development, ToucH RadiO, is sourced to step up, Mobile and PSP streaming.
These, streaming solutions, are powered by different streaming products, such as Virtual Radio.
Although, 3G streaming, has not yet been put to the test, ToucH RadiO, has announced that, "they hope to enable growth in there foundation, and provide the best they possibly can to there listeners".
With high hopes, of further production, ToucH RadiO, is a free to use, service, and tends to promote its self, though free-to-uses services as well, and to represent theses services, in the making of future developments, and further productions.

Technical Faults
Server Errors
ToucH RadiO Halts for Production; 8 May 2010
ToucH RadiO has came accross many faults in launching the station. The main reason for this is there server. The service opperates by use of Virtual DJ, and broadcast to a SHOUTcast Server, at any bitrate (commonly 64kbs). Originally, the station was set to broadcast over the server, "91.121.196.111:3670" entitled, "Radio Unlimited", this server, was previously used by Radio Shawty. After the redevelopment of the server host, Fastcast4u.com (previously FreeSHOUTcast), the server was then reported as "being corrupt" thus therefore providing a hold up in future production.
After initialisation of demo servers, the station had then been in a "roaming state", by which they used unowned servers, for the time being. Howsoever, the demo server "fastcast4u:5000, which was initially used as a reliant for alternative broadcasting, had cause connectivity for broadcasting but no streaming, this was reported as the result for streaming problems, on the Ndwaz10 show on Friday, 7 May 2010.
As the station is still on search for a stable, dedicated server, it has been announced, that there shall be a halt in production, untill the problem is resolved.
Future Plans
ToucH RadiO has numerous future plans.
Originally, most of them where listed in the ToucH RadiO OPP (Overall Production Project), drafted by DJ Real U, the Head of the Technical Directorate.
Initially DJ Ndwaz 10, has also announced the development of recreating ToucH RadiO, into a profitable station, due to high expenses, technical difficulties and server malfunctions, which were numerously reported.
