DJ Real U is the Co-Founder & Technical Executive of Touch Radio, Executive Producer for P Playa Records - South Africa, as well as Radio Shawty's Founding DJ. Reffered to by ToucH RadiO, as one of the "bignames in South African House webcasting", along with his co-workers, DJ Ndwaztistic. Also referred to as, "The Realist", DJ Real U, has a multiple range of nicknames, such as "Young Ayisto", which was inherited by his passion of house music, the name was adapted from, Ayisto, an existing yet slightly notorious, South African DJ. He first started a carrier in the music industry, back in 2008, when his passion for music emerged. Not long after, originated the established history of Radio Shawty. He quoted, it was "for the passion". Alternatively, DJ Real U was first named Cruisy or Cruise, but as acknowledged, his title as DJ was mistakenly given. As Described "RJ" (Radio Jock), DJ Real U, soon changed the need of seeking a new name, as his mixes amplified the sound of Radio Shawty, thus made the service, fluently famous. Overview DJ Real U, is 17 years old from South Africa. He is Radio Shawty's founding DJ, and recently, underwent a resignation process, from the Radio Shawty team, due to him moving. Previously he managed the service, as well, but he announced in early December 2009, that a new radio service, might be founded in 2010, named "Hip Hop West Coast". He then stated that his music carrier will be put to an end in January 2010, after the release of Technotronic, due to the lack of inspiration, motivation, and fans. The submission of a new station which was announced to be created was declined, as DJ Real U stated the fact of a lack of Internet users, in the foundational region which it was to be created. Howsoever, due to the lack of House music in the West Coast Region of South Africa, he unveiled the soon to be completed Technotronic album, (which was announced to be released in March 2010), and stated that a new album "Green Room" was to be created as a follow up album, of which Technotronic officially was finalised on January 29, 2010, after his outstanding remixed version of "Kiss and Say Goodbye", which features DJ Clock. DJ Real U, has a private producing contract with P Playa Records, but recent distribution of music from P Playa, might be unsuccessful, due to technical difficulties. DJ Real U vs Reëlphonik Reëlphonik, is a trademarkic name, for DJ Real U. Implied with rythemic sounds, all compositions, made without the use of vinyl's, is reffered to the title, Reëlphonik. The reason for this is, the tittle "DJ'", only implies the mixture of fusionative use of vinly's, when music is mixed, and transposed. The sounds of Reëlphonik, have been announced to be mixed on ToucH RadiO, by DJ Real U, the show entitled " Reëlphonik Funk", will be broadcasted on Saturdays @ 7pm, thus 4 hours after "Electrofusion". Radio Jock DJ Real U, is signed with Touch Radio, as an "Officially Skilled Radio Jock". He founded the station, along with DJ Ndwaztistic, virtually, with his experienced knowledge of which he had first created Radio Shawty. '(For futher understanding of this topic see: Touch Radio)' DJ Real U, broadcasts every week on Touch Radio, on his solo, radio show, entitled, "Electrofusion @ 4". The show features all the best in legendary house music, familiar favorites and some of the latest hit makers, from House to Hip-Hop and RnB. It broadcasts at 14:00 (GMT), which is 4PM (16:00), in Central African Time (GMT+2). The show can be streamed, using the U.N.T Media Toolbar or the Official ToucH RadiO Streaming Page , as well other Touch Radio Streaming services. Origins Born in the Jacaranda City, Pretoria, which is South Africa's Administrative Capital, DJ Real U, always had a passion for music. His first development in the music industry, was based on rapping. He was influenced by the urban beats of common music services, and soon started creating rhymes, of a hip hop motion. Thus, opening a path for him in the hip hop music industry, but howsoever, his so called "young talents" we're not discovered. His development, in Hip-Hop music, started at age 10, when he started adopting the name "Lil' K-Mario". Self-Production DJ Real U, progressed into the stage of self-production, by practicing the art of presenting music, and mixing. Thus, opened a new path for him in the music industry, but his carrier, was not yet established. P Playa Records, a private distribution records firm, described as "non-profit", due to its ownership by U.N.T Media Productions, then automatically produced young DJ Real U, due to his founding of Radio Shawty. DJ Real U, then practiced the art of recording, in which he reached the level of 100 recorded songs, three to four months after his first use of digital turntables. Production DJ Real U, is privately produced by P Playa Records, by which three albums have been cited for distribution. His first album, "The Official DJ Real U Mixtape", was issued as a promotional disc, and featured 23 tracks, 20 of which where originally distributed, and 3 which are additionally added, as promotion songs. The album, was originally formed for distribution as an MP3 disc, but P Playa Records, has refused to create or distribute the album on a compact disc, howsoever, it can be downloaded over the Internet. History Initially, it all started in 2007. Young, DJ Real U, (untitled, at that time, but afterwards known unofficially, as DJ Cruise or Cruisy) , had a striving passion for music. With his inspiration, he started, using Windows Media Player, in which live RJ-ing (Radio Jocking) was made. Playing back, Hip-Hop and RnB Music, with fast tempted beats, regularly high pitched, creating an overall RJ impression, he continued, to explore more of the music world. In his seek, of quality mixing software, he basically, came across, free "DJ-ing" software, (as labeled by its creators) which all, had no DJ features, such as a turntable, or recording option, but only an equalizer. DJ Real U, then, created radio jingles, (the first one being, his voice, narrating the words, "You're listening to Radio Shawty"). Thereafter, the software "Virtual DJ", was donated onto him, in which, he had started, practicing a more advanced, system, of mixing audio. Thus influenced, him to created, his first self-recored, album, (which was considered, as a test album), dedicated, to Radio Shawty, before, the actual establishment of the service. After a concise period of managing the service, his popular sounds, was also broadcasted by himself on Project Freecast. In late 2009, DJ Real U, had retired from Radio Shawty, therefore enplaceing two new owners, DJ Mastro (Khalil Maduna) and DJ Mouse (Ryan Isaacs), howsoever due to corrupt management from these two DJ's, DJ Ndwaztistic, then rebelled against the corruptive procedures and teamed up with DJ Real U, in order of creating Touch Radio. Future Hopes DJ Real U, has mentioned manytimes, that his hopes to be "reconised for his talent, and not just produced". He is still studding at high school , and DJ's on weekends, or in his spare time. As his original hopes, was to esthablish, Radio Shawty as an FM station, he has produced it as a Internet Radio station in August 2009 , 8 months before the lanch of Touch Radio.
