Toshikazu Ikuta

is a fellow at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research.
Ikuta received his degree from International Christian University, before moving to study neuroscience at Indiana University. He received a Ph.D. (Neuroscience and Linguistics) from Indiana University in 2008.
Ikuta is a researcher dopamine and language processing.
In Indiana University, he worked at Adult Cognition and Language Laboratory and Cognitive Neuroimaging Laboratory.
Ikuta investigates dopaminergic modulation in language processing. His study "Dopaminergic Modulation in Grammatical Processing: fMRI Study of Parkinson's Disease" pioneered in search for the molecular correlates for language progressing for which he received a Ph.D. degree.
He is also a linguist, specialized in syntax and computational linguistics, as well as a neuroscientist. He obtained M.A. (Computational Linguistics) from Indiana University in 2005.
