Tom Gallichio is a current UFC fighter and has fought on both The Ultimate Fighter 22 and The Ultimate Fighter Redemption. He also owns a candy machine business and is a stand up comedian. He likes to rear naked choke people and most of his victories inside the cage are by submission. Tom Gallicchio began becoming known when he won the MFC world title.Tom Gallicchio is a BJJ black belt and has won jiu jitsu tournaments. He is also an M-1 global champion.After many years of being broke and poor, after being eliminated on the ultimate fighter 22 by Marcin Wrzozek, he got back In the win column thus getting a call to redeem himself after his tuf 22 loss on the ultimate fighter 25. Tom was a huge underdog on the show and he stated,that he really wanted to win the ultimate fighter redemption so he didn't have to live broke anymore and he wanted a shot at being in the UFC. And boy, did he perform better than anyone anticipated,upsetting the taller Jamaican Eddie Gordan by his signature rear naked choke and beating another tough customer Justin Edwards by rear naked choke after being hurt badly by an overhand right.This proppeled him to the ultimate fighter semi finals where he faced fellow friend and castmate Dhiego Lima. In the fight Tom could not get the fight to the ground where he was best as Dhiego the much bigger man used his reach to beat up Tom. The second round wad better where Tom took the fight to the ground. Then something shocking happens when Dhiego got a point token away after grabbing the fence, which took the fight to a third round.This did not really help Tom as he got out up on the feet more, but Tom showed extreme heart and dedication to survive the fight and go to the judges scorecards,where Dhiego Lima won a lopsided decision. Dhiego would later face Jesse Taylor on the ultimate fighter finale. Tom lost to James Krause on The Ultimate Fighter Redemption Finale.
