Tobias Morter (21 September 1994, Oxford, England) is an English-born singer and actor, best known for his portrayal of Old Joe in the OFS Studio production of A Christmas Carol. Biography Morter started his acting career at the age of twelve when he starred in Macbeth as an ensemble member. After Macbeth Morter went on to star in The Tempest and Peter Pan. Peter Pan was Morter's biggest role to date were he portrayed Wendy's Brother, Little John. Morter achieved critical acclaim for his work in the box office hit production of A Christmas Carol in Oxford. In the wake of A Christmas Carol Morter found fame in Asia because of the success A Christmas Carol had with the Asian audiences. After A Christmas Carol Morter starred in a London production of where he portrayed the roles of a Audition Kid and a Wildcat. This role was significantly smaller than the role Morter held in A Christmas Carol because of health issues Morter had during this time. In the summer of 2010 Morter returned to regional theatre where he portrayed The Wizard Of Oz in the New Theatre Oxford's Production of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. A revival of A Christmas Carol was planned for the winter of 2010 in which Morter would reprise the role of Old Joe. Such plans never made it to fruition. Personal Life Morter leeds a very private life and is rarely seen in any publicity outlets. Morter is currently studying for his GCSE's. Morter lives with his whole family in rural Oxfordshire. Future plans Morter has been involved in the workshop process of many plays and musicals.
