Shell for Windows is a free shell replacement application for Microsoft XP/Vista/Seven developed by Shell for Windows Lab. The program interface consists of some menus, each of them makes specific functions. There are menus such as Programs, Files, Applications, e.c. Each of them is responsible for appropriate tasks. There is no desktop in the software. The program supports color schemes. Distinctive feature of the application is shortcuts which actually help to shorten time of access to get many controls. There is in-build virtual desktops manager.
First application release was in begin December of 2010 and the program quickly got popularity among Internet users.
