Tim Garner (born 1984) is a New Zealand professional singer, actor, dancer and producer. Early life Garner spent his childhood in Auckland and was educated at St Peter's College, Auckland. Career Garner made his professional opera debut at the age of 20 in The NBR New Zealand Opera 2004 production of Verdi's La Traviata and soon after appeared in The Consul, The Beggar's Opera, Not A Silent Night and The Magic Flute. He graduated BA (Honors, First class) in Musical Theatre from LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore in 2008 and has performed regularly in Singapore since then, including in Singapore Repertory Theatre's The Boy Who Cried Wolf, I Theatre’s Momotaro, with improv comedy group Improvanopolis and monthly leading Musical Theatre Mondays at Blu Jaz Café. Also in Singapore, Garner was part of the management team of The Lion King and directed and choreographed Hey Florence! the musical for SingHealth.
